The mexican Tortilla story

Hello Mano!!

I'm a Tortilla, the truly Mexican Tortilla, and i'll tell you my story. It all started back in Rancho Hermosillo, in México. In those times there were no soft tortillas to make the classical padrísimos burritos that you like to enjoy, nor the chidos soft tacos! All the poor chamacos could eat was guacamole, frijoles and drink margaritas. Mexican Fiestas were not padre at all.
The mexican Dudes knew that something was missing but couldn't find what it was, they tryed to cross the Frontera a lot of times to the norte, in search of the new ingredient, but it was all useless.

One good day two chamaquitas came arroud the Rancho, while all the camaradas were having a Siesta under their Sombreros. They were Miss Tamara and Miss Anna Russ, the tortilleras. They have developed a strange tecnique, it was like a bread but flatter. They called them Tortillas (no idea why).
For Virgen Guadalupe's sake!! since then mexico and tex-mex it's not the same since then! Now the Fiestas are really padrisimas, for we have where to put all that guacamole, that frijoles and have some excelent enchiladas and fajitas.

Proyecta 2008!!

Hola Gusa!
Te he echado de menos!

Besos!
Laurita
